ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th Sep, 2026) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday paid rich tribute to the security forces for conducting a successful operation against terrorists near Kalat along the N-25, connecting Chaman and Karachi.
The prime minister, in statement, commended the security forces for their timely and effective action, which resulted in the elimination of five terrorists and the safe rescue of 23 abducted individuals from a terrorist hideout.
He lauded the security forces for timely thwarting the terrorists’ nefarious plot to disrupt public movement, carry out kidnappings for ransom, extort citizens, and snatch vehicles along the national highway.
The prime minister also praised the professional capabilities of the security forces for recovering a large cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives, along with six trucks, three buses, and two vehicles from the possession of the terrorists.
Reaffirming the government‘s resolve, he reiterated that the decisive anti-terror operations would continue under Operation Azm-e-Istehkam until the country is purged of the foreign-sponsored terrorism.
