LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Sep, 2026) Journalist Muneeb Farooq says he is reporting that the government’s work is not ending and that once its departure is decided, no stroke of the pen will be needed.
In his vlog, he said discussions were underway and several politicians were also posting on Twitter, with a protest sit-in expected on one side and Mohsin Naqvi’s speech on the other. He said the government’s shortcomings were being identified and were now becoming a subject of media discussion, with claims that the government was leaving.
“Let me make it clear: removing the government does not require a media trial or any effort.
Once its departure is decided, no stroke of the pen will be needed,” he said.
Farooq said that when those in power wanted it, the government would easily collapse with a thud, and no one would care.
He said matters would move toward whatever alternative system emerged. He added that discussions were taking place in media circles about what was happening, while those in power were seeking answers to questions.
Journalists were saying that the government’s work was over, but he was reporting that it was not over. When the time came, he said, no media trial would be needed, and the government’s work would end on its own.
