The outlets were spreading false news about me, and more media organizations could be banned in the future, Trump said in a Truth Social post.
WASHINGTON, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Sep, 2026) U.S. President Donald Trump has banned representatives of three broadcasting outlets, including CNN, from entering the White House.
According to the report, the outlets barred by Trump also include MS Now and Politico, in addition to CNN.
The ban was imposed after a complaint emerged regarding a social media post.
In a statement on Truth Social, President Trump said the outlets had been spreading false news about his administration and that more media organizations could be banned in the future.
President Trump also reiterated that the war with Iran would end soon.
It is worth recalling that President Trump has had disagreements with mainstream U.S. media as well as journalists from independent media outlets that previously supported him.
At the beginning of his presidency, he called for restrictions on dozens of late-night show hosts. He has also been engaged in disputes with The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Washington Post and the country’s leading popular newspaper, USA Today.
