LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Sep, 2026) The process of supplying subsidized fuel to citizens under the Prime Minister‘s petroleum products subsidy scheme, along with administrative monitoring,was continuing across the city,here on Saturday.
Lahore Commissioner Nauman Yousuf visited various petrol pumps to review the sale of fuel under the subsidy scheme and assess the facilities being provided to citizens.
The Commissioner inspected petrol pumps located on Outfall Road,Sagian and MAO College Road.
During the visit,two PSO stations and one station each of Euro and Total were inspected.
He reviewed the performance of administrative facilitation counters established at the petrol pumps for the convenience of citizens and inquired from consumers about the process of obtaining subsidized fuel.
Nauman Yousuf also examined records relating to the supply of subsidized fuel at the petrol pumps.
He said petrol was being provided to citizens in accordance with the procedures prescribed under the Prime Minister’s fuel subsidy scheme and that the government subsidy was effectively reaching the public.
The Commissioner advised citizens to approach the facilitation counters at petrol pumps in case of any difficulty. He said the convenience of citizens was the top priority,adding that Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners were directly monitoring the subsidized fuel supply process at the petrol pumps.
