TANK, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18th Sep, 2026) The Tank police have seized over 100 kilograms of dried cannabis, illegal weapons and ammunition, and arrested several suspects during search operations and snap checking across the district.
According to a police spokesman, a team led by City Circle DSP Sharifullah Khan Kundi and SHO Samiullah Khan raided an upper-floor hideout and arrested Wali Muhammad, recovering 100.05kg of dried cannabis, a digital weighing scale, and packing bags.
In separate actions, police arrested Iqbal and Dawood Khan and recovered a pistol with five rounds and 20 rounds, respectively. They also arrested proclaimed offender Bostan during a search operation and Tahir Mahmood with a 30-bore pistol and six rounds.
Meanwhile, the police arrested proclaimed offender Pir Badshah, while Noor Muhammad was held with a rifle and 50 rounds.
Cases have been registered and further investigation is underway.
