ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18th Sep, 2026) Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has commended security forces for carrying out successful operations against Khawarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including actions in North Waziristan and Hangu that resulted in the killing of 10 militants.
He also paid tribute to six security personnel who lost their lives in an attack on a convoy while performing their duties.
In a statement, Mohsin Naqvi praised the professional capabilities of the security forces and acknowledged their role in conducting successful operations against Khawarij in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He specifically appreciated the operations in North Waziristan and Hangu, where 10 militants were killed.
The Interior Minister also paid tribute to six members of the security forces who embraced martyrdom in an attack on a convoy.
He honoured their sacrifice and service to the country.
Mohsin Naqvi expressed sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs. He said the nation stands with the bereaved families and recognizes the sacrifices made by the security personnel.
The Interior Minister said he salutes the sacrifices of the martyrs and acknowledged their dedication in the fight against terrorism. He stated that the sacrifices of the fallen personnel would not go in vain.
Mohsin Naqvi said the entire nation is proud of its brave sons who continue to serve and protect the country.
He added that the courage and commitment shown by the security forces reflect their determination to safeguard national security.
The Interior Minister reaffirmed respect for the martyrs and their contributions, saying their sacrifices would always be remembered. He said the services rendered by the security forces are valued by the nation and remain an important part of efforts to maintain peace and security in the country.
