TANK, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18th Sep, 2026) The 5th District Development Forum (DDF) meeting under the Livelihood Support and Promotion of Small Community Infrastructure Programme (LACIP-II) was held with Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance & Planning) Riaz Khan in the chair.
Heads and representatives of various government departments attended the meeting.
Representatives of the Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP) gave a detailed briefing on the objectives of LACIP-II, ongoing development activities, progress achieved so far, and key initiatives being undertaken under the programme.
The forum reviewed the progress of ongoing development schemes in the district and discussed measures to ensure their timely and effective completion.
The participants emphasized the need for stronger coordination and cooperation among relevant government departments and implementing partners to improve the pace and effectiveness of development activities.
