of Prof Dr Muhammad Danish, Dean of Sciences, and the supervision of Dr Muhammad Musaddiq
Shah, Head of the Department of Biological Sciences, organized an insightful Open
House 2026 under the theme “From Classroom to Career: Biology in Action.”
According to the USKT, the event featured valuable insights from Dr Maqsood Ahmad, chief guest
and Director Agriculture (Plant Protection), Pest Warning & Quality Control of Pesticides,
Government of Punjab, Sialkot, who highlighted the practical applications of biological pest
control in modern agriculture.
Zain Sohail, Zonal Manager, Sialkot Region, COMAGA Life Sciences (Pvt) Ltd, shared valuable
insights into industry-based career opportunities for Biological Sciences graduates.
Alumni from Abroad, Halima Allahdad and Waleed Khalid, along with local alumni, shared their
professional experiences and highlighted the role of the department in shaping their academic
and career journeys.
The Open House provided students with an inspiring opportunity to connect classroom learning
with real-world applications, industry exposure, professional skills, and future career
opportunities in Biological Sciences.
