No decision has been made to replace or discontinue currency notes of any denomination, the State Bank said in a statement.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th Sep, 2026) The State Bank of Pakistan has said that rumours about a deadline for exchanging Rs10 Currency notes are baseless and contrary to facts.
In a statement issued from Karachi, the State Bank of Pakistan said the Federal cabinet is considering the State Bank’s proposal to introduce a new series of banknotes.
The statement added that no decision has been made to replace or discontinue currency notes of any denomination.
