Any move on September 27 resembling November 26 or previous marches or attacks toward Islamabad will be dealt with strictly, the Minister of State for Interior says.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th Sep, 2026) Federal Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry issued a stern warning over the September 27 protest announced by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Speaking to the media, the minister said that if the opposition party attempted any kind of assault on Islamabad under the cover of the September 27 protest, the government and the state would respond so forcefully that people would forget all previous protests.
He said that if PTI took any step on September 27 resembling November 26, or any previous long march, sit-in or attack toward Islamabad, protesters would face such strict and legal action this time that they would even forget the events of November 26.
No one would be allowed to attack Islamabad, disrupt law and order or challenge the state’s territory, he said, adding that those taking the law into their own hands would be dealt with extremely strictly.
