PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th Sep, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA), in collaboration with the Literary Society of Khyber Medical College, organized a guided heritage tour for around 60 male and female medical students to promote awareness of Peshawar’s rich history, culture, and tourism potential.
The students visited Lahori Gate, Gor Khatri, Heritage Trail, and Sethi House in Peshawar.
Saeed Khan, Assistant Director Tourism, KPCTA, briefed them on the city’s historical and cultural significance, while Tourism Police ensured their safety and facilitation throughout the tour.
The students appreciated KPCTA’s efforts to promote cultural awareness through such informative and engaging activities. They hoped for more such tours to Takhtbhai and Swat archaeology sites.
