According to the global financial publication Bloomberg, international investors’ interest in the Indian stock market has been affected, while several international companies have reduced or ended their investments in India.
The report said foreign investors had become cautious due to challenges facing the Indian economy and continued market volatility.
The decline in investment has also raised questions about the Modi government’s economic policies and claims regarding India’s economic performance.
