PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 16th Sep, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Arshad Ayub Khan on Wednesday directed authorities to ensure quality education, regular attendance of teaching staff and improved learning outcomes in all model schools in the merged districts.
He was chairing a joint meeting of the board of Governors (BoG) of model schools in the merged districts to review their academic and administrative performance.
The meeting examined academic results, administrative affairs, financial position, staff strength and infrastructure requirements of the model schools.
The minister also stressed the need to ensure basic facilities for students and staff.
The meeting discussed measures to strengthen institutional capacity, ensure timely utilization of available funds and maintain transparency and merit in the affairs of the model schools.
The BoG approved several measures to improve the functioning of the institutions and resolved to develop the model schools in the merged districts as centres of excellence.
