KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 16th Sep, 2026) Renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani has said that the sounding of an emergency siren in Makkah for the first time in history is a warning for the entire Muslim ummah.
According to details, Mufti Taqi Usmani expressed deep concern over the attacks on Saudi territory, particularly Makkah, and the sounding of the siren in a significant and thought-provoking post on social media platform X.
He strongly condemned the targeting of Saudi Arabia in these sensitive circumstances.
Commenting on the emergency situation in the region, he wrote that targeting the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in these extremely sensitive and critical circumstances was highly dangerous and strongly condemnable.
He said the sounding of an emergency siren in the holy city of Makkah for the first time in history was not an ordinary event, but a major warning and alarm for the entire Muslim ummah.
In his statement, Mufti Taqi Usmani also strongly criticized what he described as the United States’ double standards and reluctance to provide security cooperation during the ongoing crisis.
He said that America’s hesitation and refusal to fully support and defend Saudi Arabia at this critical juncture exposed its traditional, long-term and reprehensible designs against the Muslim ummah.
