The women were caught taking the newborn out of the nursery, police officials said.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Sep, 2026) An attempt to abduct a newborn from the nursery of PIMS Hospital was foiled, and police arrested three women. According to police, the women were caught while taking the newborn out of the nursery.
The three women were apprehended by security personnel and relevant hospital staff. The arrested women were initially handed over to Karachi Company Police Station. Police said that after investigation, the three women were transferred to the Women Police Station for registration of a case.
