Civil Defense briefly issued alerts over a potential threat in Yanbu, AlUla, Jeddah, Taif, Abha and Jazan, a report said.
RIYADH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Sep, 2026) Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense Department issued brief emergency alerts in Yanbu, AlUla, Jeddah, Taif, Abha and Jazan over a possible threat, but withdrew all the alerts a few minutes later.
Saudi Civil Defense also announced that the situation had returned to normal and the threat had ended. According to the Saudi news agency, alerts over similar possible threats had also been issued in various areas, including Khamis Mushait, the previous night.
