Imran Khan’s sisters are facing humiliation and are not being allowed to meet him, while reports are being circulated about sending him a cake and meetings with generals, an anchorperson said.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Sep, 2026) Anchorperson and analyst Muneeb Farooq rejected reports about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s current political strategy, progress in Barrister Gohar’s meetings and negotiations with the establishment.
In his vlog, he said that the government and establishment currently had no interest in any dialogue with PTI, and that all efforts were being made unilaterally by Barrister Gohar.
During a recent highly important meeting with Barrister Gohar, he was clearly told through a hand gesture: “Gohar brother! If you want to fight, then fight openly; we will see what happens next.”
He claimed that all efforts for dialogue were being made solely by Barrister Gohar in an attempt to find a middle ground, while the government and establishment were currently not interested in resolving the matter.
On one hand, Imran Khan’s sisters were being made to suffer outside Adiala Jail and were not even being allowed to meet him; on the other, reports were circulating about sending a cake to Imran Khan and meetings with generals.
Highlighting contradictions in the judicial system and political history, Muneeb Farooq said that in the past, the same courts used to decide who would remain in jail and who would be released.
When circumstances changed and decisions came with the establishment’s approval, leaders such as Nawaz Sharif were easily released. However, today those same courts say that no prisoner can be treated discriminatorily. This is how time changes: today it may change in someone’s favor, and tomorrow it may change in someone else’s favor.
