Law enforcement personnel in plain clothes are protecting and entertaining Sohail Afridi, the prime minister’s adviser said.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Sep, 2026) Prime Minister’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah said PTI members themselves acknowledge that a large number of terrorists are present in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and carry out terrorism in the province and other parts of the country.
He said these activities are aimed at breaking up the country and overthrowing the government.
The PML-N senator said, “If they are preparing to attack Islamabad in a procession from there, why would terrorists not join them?” He said the crowd around Sohail Afridi comprised not members of the public but law enforcement personnel.
He said law enforcement personnel in plain clothes were both protecting Sohail Afridi and entertaining him.
If PTI had any political sense, it should not hold a long march, he added.
