The court ordered the passports of 24 members of the National and provincial assemblies, including Asad Qaiser, Provincial Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati, PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Junaid Akbar, Shahid Khatak, Iqbal Afridi and Shahram Tarkai, to be blocked.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14th Sep, 2026) An Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) ordered the blocking of the passports of 24 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members of the National and provincial assemblies.
The court also ordered the passports of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, Asad Qaiser, Shahram Tarkai, Shah Ahad, Sher Ali Arbab, Muhammad Iqbal Afridi and Dr Amjad Ali to be blocked.
According to a private tv channel, the court also ordered the blocking of the passports of PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Junaid Akbar, Shahid Khatak, Zubair Wazir, Omar Ayub, Arshad Umarzai, Zar Alam, Mian Umar, Akhtar Khan, Humayun Khan, Riaz Khan, Abdul Kabir Khan, Tufail Anjum, Asif Mehsud, Ajab Gul, Muhammad Usman, Babar Saleem Swati, Irfan Saleem, Advocate Ali Zaman and Malik Shahab.
