The Karachi mayor told reporters that Mustafa Kamal should take care of his health, saying he gets angry, and he also mentioned that Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui was called a RAW agent.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 13th Sep, 2026) Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab has said that he will attend a debate with Mustafa Kamal whenever Kamal asks for it, but he should present the documents.

Speaking to journalists in Karachi, the mayor said Mustafa Kamal had asked him to come into the field, adding that he was still in the field today.

Murtaza Wahab said Mustafa Kamal holds press conferences in air-conditioned rooms and visits Karachi once a week.

He said that if his opponents did not oppose him, they would no longer be his opponents. He added that Mustafa Kamal had claimed that Rs300 billion had been spent and challenged him to show the budget documents if the money had actually been spent.

Murtaza Wahab said Mustafa Kamal becomes angry and should take care of his health because he is the health minister.

The Karachi mayor said documents could not be hidden and it would become clear how they had become the world‘s second-best mayors.

He said that the person in question had once called Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui a RAW agent, but joined the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) under Khalid Maqbool‘s leadership before the 2024 elections.

He said the person had claimed that not only Karachi but also Sindh‘s chief minister would be from the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).

Murtaza Wahab said elections were held and the person came fifth, adding that his point of view changed every day.

He said there was a time when people claimed that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) lacked powers, but the law and powers remained the same; only the leadership had changed, and work was now visible.

The Karachi mayor said free IT courses would be offered to young people.

He said they wanted children to acquire these skills so they could serve their parents and city. He added that, under the project, a park covering 4,400 square metres had been equipped with facilities.

A play area and swings had also been installed for children at Shadman Town Park, while the IT centre in Shadman Town had been upgraded with modern facilities.

He said they would complete work in the city that would improve the lives of ordinary people.

Tendering for roads in another 139 towns would be carried out after September 15. He said the KMC would build these roads for public convenience and that such work would be seen in every district and town of the city.
