Speaking to a senior PML-N leader, the anchorperson was told that the party has no objection to creating new provinces but will not undertake efforts to persuade other parties, according to his vlog.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 13th Sep, 2026) Senior anchorperson and analyst Mansoor Ali Khan has made important revelations about an off-the-record conversation with a senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader and strongly criticized the lavish lifestyle of government figures.
According to Mansoor Ali Khan, a senior PML-N leader said during an informal conversation that the party had no fundamental objection to the creation of new provinces.
However, the party would not undertake political alignment or the effort to persuade other parties on the issue.
The PML-N leader reportedly said that it was an Establishment project and that the Establishment should persuade everyone; once it had secured the required numbers and members, it should simply issue the order and the PML-N would agree.
Responding to criticism by government spokespersons, particularly Uzma Bukhari, over PTI leader Sohail Afridi’s visit to Karachi, Mansoor Ali Khan said that Sohail Afridi had not used a government aircraft.
He had travelled on a regular domestic commercial flight, and his boarding passes and tickets had been made public. He said rulers lecture the public on simplicity and austerity while undertaking international trips on government aircraft themselves.
Mansoor Ali Khan said that nothing extraordinary would have happened if Maryam Nawaz had travelled to England on a commercial flight.
He said the government lectures the public on austerity, imposes a speed limit of 100 on motorways when petrol prices rise, and pushes citizens toward saving while itself incurring lavish expenses. He added that before criticizing others, Uzma Bukhari should also present to the nation an account of her chief minister’s foreign trips on government aircraft.
