International Flight Passenger Rules Changed; Travel Without NADRA Vaccination Certificate Banned

No passenger will be allowed to travel internationally without a valid NADRA vaccination certificate from September 14, according to a notification.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) The Airport Health Department has issued an important and strict notification for international flight passengers, particularly Umrah pilgrims, announcing major changes to travel regulations.

According to media reports, no passenger will be allowed to travel internationally without a valid NADRA vaccination certificate from September 14.

All Umrah pilgrims have been specifically directed to obtain their NADRA vaccination cards before departure.

The Federal Government Civil Dispensary has been designated as the sole centre for vaccinating international passengers.

All relevant airlines have been required to ensure complete verification of vaccination certificates for Umrah pilgrims and other passengers before boarding.

A procedure has also been issued for passengers who plan to get vaccinated at the airport to avoid long waits at NADRA.

Passengers wishing to receive the vaccine at the airport must arrive at least 6 hours before their flight time. Vaccination and its online registration will be completed at the international departure area.
