Training Workshop Held To Improve Police Conduct And Public Service Delivery


RAWALPINDI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) A training workshop aimed at promoting positive behavioural change among police officers and improving public service delivery was held at the Police Lines Headquarters.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Administration Shahida Yasmeen, DSP Legal Rashid Bilal and other police officers delivered lectures during the workshop, which focused on improving the conduct and ethical standards of police officers and personnel.

Police officers and personnel from across the district, including the Elite Force, Traffic Police and Dolphin Force, participated in the training session.

Participants were directed to ensure full protection of citizens’ dignity, self-respect and fundamental rights.

Police personnel were advised to treat citizens visiting police stations, checkpoints, police offices and facilitation centres with courtesy, respect and professionalism.

The workshop also stressed that women, elderly people and children should be treated with particular courtesy and that their complaints and problems should be addressed on a priority basis while ensuring the requirements of justice.

Speakers said public trust in the police could be strengthened through courteous, patient and professional conduct, adding that respect for citizens should be a defining feature of policing.

According to police spokesperson, measures to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property and improve service delivery are being taken in line with the vision of the Punjab Chief Minister, directives of the Inspector General of Police Punjab and instructions of CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera.
