No Hasty Decision Should Be Taken On Formation Of Provinces, Says Asad Qaiser

PTI is ready to hold talks with all political parties, including the PPP, as Pakistan cannot afford further pressure or hasty decisions, says the PTI leader.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) PTI central leader Asad Qaiser said that no hasty decision should be taken on the important issue of forming provinces. He said PTI was ready to hold talks with all political parties, including the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), adding that the country could not afford further pressure or hasty decisions.
In a statement, he said PTI was ready for dialogue with all political parties, including the PPP.

He said consensus among all stakeholders was essential on the important issue of forming provinces. Provinces should be created according to the will of the people, but a representative parliament was necessary for this purpose.

Dialogue on matters of national importance should take place above political prejudice.
Asad Qaiser said PTI was open to talks with all parties because the country could not afford further pressure or hasty decisions.

He said preventing meetings with Imran Khan’s family was a violation of fundamental rights.

PTI’s legal team was preparing in connection with the 27 September march, while the party’s legal team was handling the matter pending before the Islamabad High Court.
Furthermore, Asad Qaiser said the PMDC had issued a notification to expel Afghan students studying in Pakistan.

He said these students had been admitted to Pakistani medical colleges under government policy, but their education had not yet been completed and they were being expelled.
He termed the expulsion of Afghan students in this manner extremely ridiculous, saying, “You are playing with the future of students.” He said relations between governments could sometimes be good and sometimes bad, but the hatred created in the hearts of people remained for a long time.

He questioned whether policymakers had any heart or moral responsibility.
He strongly condemned the PMDC notification and demanded its immediate withdrawal.
