Arrest Warrants Against KP CM Sohail Afridi Upheld In Nov 26 Protest Case


Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the case as the court issued arrest warrants for accused who failed to appear.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) The Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has upheld the arrest warrants against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, Abdul Ghani Afridi, Junaid Akbar and others in the November 26 protest case.

ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the case.

The court issued arrest warrants for the accused who did not appear today, while proceedings to declare Sohail Afridi and other accused proclaimed offenders are also continuing. The court rejected the applications seeking exemption from personal appearance filed by the accused.

The court directed the police to submit the challan against Sohail Afridi and others at the earliest and adjourned further hearing until September 30.

A case against Sohail Afridi and others has been registered at Margalla Police Station.
