GUJRAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 7th Sep, 2026) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Health Authority Gujrat Dr. Syed Aitizaz Ahmed, along with Deputy District Health Officers, on Monday inspected various Chief Minister Clinics on Wheels to review healthcare services being provided to citizens.
According to an official source, Dr. Aitizaz Ahmed inspected a mobile health team in Mohalla Kalupura, Gujrat, while Deputy District Health Officer Gujrat Dr. Muhammad Usman Naeem reviewed performance in Union Council No. 12, Islampura. Deputy District Health Officer Sara-i-Alamgir Dr.
Waheed Kamran inspected a team in urban Sara-i-Alamgir.
The mobile clinics are holding daily camps in urban slums and low-income settlements under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif to provide basic healthcare facilities directly to residents doorsteps.
Services offered by the mobile units include general health screening, maternal and child healthcare, family planning, and routine immunization of children.
The health teams have also provided prompt medical assistance during emergencies, particularly in areas affected by recent urban flooding.
