MARDAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th Sep, 2026) A tragic double murder has taken place in Ittehad Colony, Jhade Hathyan in the jurisdiction of Lundkhwar Police Station on Sunday, where two friends wer gunned down as a result of a long-standing personal feud.
The victims have been identified as Yasir Abbas and his friend Imran. According to an official report lodged by Nasir Khan, father of the deceased Yasir Abbas, his son had left family residence shortly after having received a telephone call.
Moments after his departure, sudden gunfire was heard in the vicinity. Upon rushing outside, he discovered both Yasir Abbas and Imran lying severely wounded in a bloody state.
Before succumbing to his injuries, Yasir Abbas stated that firearms had been opened upon them by suspects identified as Juma Gul and Sudais, who subsequently fled the scene.
Though both injured men were immediately rushed towards Lundkhwar Hospital for emergency medical treatment, both had tragically succumbed to their injuries whilst en route.
Police have completed the necessary legal formalities before handing the bodies over to grieving heirs.
A double murder case has been formally registered against two named suspects, with active police raids currently being conducted to apprehend absconding culprits.
