HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th Sep, 2026) On this day, the enemy tried to attack our freedom and sovereignty, but our brave army sacrificed their lives and protected our dear homeland.
These views were expressed by Haji Ashraf Ali Abbasi, Patron of Bhai Khan Welfare Association, while addressing a ceremony organized by Welfare on the occasion of Pakistan Defense Day at the Welfare headquarters.
The ceremony was attended by Welfare Founder General Secretary Haji Muhammad Yasin Arain, President Abdul Latif Sheikh, Senior Vice President Khan Aftab Ahmed Khan, Vice President Shahid Rajput, Second Vice President Haji Muhammad Ismail Sheikh, Taluka Chairman Latifabad Haji Abdul Hameed Mithu, Joint Secretary Muhammad Ismail Sheikh, Aslam Sheikh, Hanif Sheikh, Farhat Abbas and a large number of people belonging to different schools of thought.
He further said that in the 1965 war, the heroes of the homeland destroyed the enemy’s intentions for the sake of the homeland with the determination of peace and security.
Speaking on the occasion, Haji Muhammad Yasin Arain and other speakers said that today gives us an opportunity to reiterate our pledge to play our important role in protecting our country.
He further said that we should strengthen Pakistan through education, hard work and unity because the real strength lies not only in weapons but in the character, spirit and unity of the nation.
On this occasion, slogans of Pakistan Zindabad and Pak Army Payandabad were also raised.
