FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 5th Sep, 2026) The sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs came alive through the display of photographs
at a Defence Day exhibition which brought together artists, cultural figures and citizens
to honor those who laid down their lives for defense and security of the motherland.
Punjab Council of the Arts, Faisalabad Division has organized the exhibition which featured
photographs of the martyrs of Pakistan and highlighted their acts of unparalleled courage, sacrifice
and devotion to the country.
The display offered visitors an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices that shaped the nation’s history
and reaffirm their commitment to the ideals for which the martyrs gave their lives.
A large number of social and cultural personalities, artists associated with the music sector and citizens attended the exhibition.
The participants paid rich tribute to the martyrs and appreciated the initiative for presenting nation’s history and spirit of patriotism through the medium of art and visual expression.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Punjab Council of the Arts Faisalabad Division Imran Raza said that the martyrs of Pakistan represented a glorious chapter in national history of the country as they had made ultimate sacrifice for defense, sovereignty and security of the homeland.
He said that sacrifices of the martyrs served as a guiding light for the entire nation and embodied values of courage, devotion, patriotism and selflessness.
The participants described the exhibition as a meaningful tribute to the martyrs, stressing that remembering and honoring sacrifices of the national heroes was a collective responsibility.
