GUJRAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 5th Sep, 2026) Assistant Commissioner (AC) Kharian Ahmad Sher Gondal on Saturday chaired a meeting to review measures against overloading and unsafe transportation and directed strict compliance with prescribed safety standard operating procedures (SOPs).
According to an official source,representatives of the Market Committee, Forest and Agriculture departments,Rice Mills Association,farmers and other relevant stakeholders attended the meeting.
The participants reviewed arrangements for mandatory compaction of paddy husk and enforcement of a ban on its transportation on roads in an uncovered condition.
The assistant commissioner directed the concerned departments and stakeholders to ensure strict implementation of government directives and traffic safety SOPs to prevent accidents and safeguard road users.
He also urged all stakeholders to extend full cooperation to the administration and ensure compliance with prescribed safety measures.
