LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th Sep, 2026) Under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, an important meeting was held at the Punjab Clean Water Authority, which was chaired by CEO Punjab Clean Water Authority Zulfiqar Ahmed Bhoon. The meeting reviewed the cleanliness arrangements of water filtration plants across the province, including Lahore, in detail.
In the meeting, it was emphasised to ensure internal and external cleanliness of all water filtration plants at all times as per the instructions of the Punjab Chief Minister.
CEO Zulfiqar Ahmed Bhoon directed that the water filling place should be kept clean and germ-free at all times so that safe and quality drinking water can be provided to the citizens.
The CEO directed field officers to visit water filtration plants in their respective areas daily and said that geo-tagged photos of before and after cleaning should also be uploaded so that an effective monitoring system can be maintained.
