QUETTA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th Sep, 2026) Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)’s Provincial General Secretary Rabbani Khan Kakar on Friday said that Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti is taking full measures with the cooperation of security forces to eradicate terrorism from Balochistan.
He said that President Asif Ali Zardari spent 13 years in jail for the sake of democracy and the rights of the people but did not compromise on his principles.
He expressed these views while addressing at a joining ceremony held at Quetta Press Club .
On the occasion of Khalil Ahmed Khilji Advocate High Court announced to join the Pakistan Peoples Party.
Khalil Ahmed Khilji Advocate said that the PPP is the party that created the 1973 Constitution, in which youth and political workers are respected.
“I am starting a political struggle for the 18th Amendment and the formation of a strong Pakistan. Therefore, I am joining the Pakistan Peoples Party for the survival and integrity of Pakistan, the continuity of democratic traditions and the supremacy of law and constitution”, he said.
Mir Naseebullah Shahwani, President Pakistan Peoples Party District Quetta, Vice President of Peoples Party Quetta Division Abdul Jabbar Khilji, Shahzada Kakar, Ainuddin Kakar, Tayyab Baloch and other PPP leaders also spoke at the joining ceremony.
The PPP leaders said that the strength of democracy, leadership has been achieved through sacrifices and The martyrs have given their lives, the PPP is a representative party of the working class and the middle class.
The Provincial General Secretary of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Rabbani Khan Kakar, has said that the workers have a key position in the PPP, the Balochistan government is taking important steps to develop the talents of the youth, Bhutto accepted martyrdom but did not compromise on the rights of the people.
He said that President Asif Ali Zardari spent 13 years in jail, Ms. Benazir Bhutto accepted martyrdom but raised the heads of the PPP and workers with pride, the sacrifices of the Bhutto family have strengthened the struggle of the PPP.
He also assured the newly joining workers that they would get respect and political position in the Pakistan Peoples Party.
