DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd Sep, 2026) Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Upper Irfan Ali Khan has directed the relevant authorities to take effective measures for resolving public issues related to irrigation and water supply.
He expressed these views during a meeting with the Executive Engineer (XEN) Irrigation to review the district’s irrigation system, water supply, and ongoing and proposed development projects.
The meeting discussed various issues related to the irrigation sector, progress on ongoing projects, and proposed schemes.
On the occasion, he also directed for ensuring the timely completion of ongoing development projects while maintaining quality standards.
He said that improving public facilities and strengthening the irrigation system were among the administration’s key priorities.
Earlier, he was briefed on various matters concerning to the status of relevant projects water supply.
