KOHAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 2nd Sep, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohat chaired an important meeting to review emergency preparedness and response mechanisms in local health facilities.
The session focused on ensuring timely handling of emergencies, availability of essential medical resources, strengthening of the emergency response system, and improved coordination among relevant institutions.
The DC directed officers to maintain readiness and guarantee swift and effective responses during emergencies. In line with the District Service Delivery Agenda, Additional Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Kohat conducted a field visit to Tehsil Lachi. He inspected Patwar Khanas at Malgeen, Darmalak, Mandori, and Khadarkhel, reviewing staff attendance, record maintenance, and the provision of revenue services to citizens.
During the visit, he instructed the concerned Patwaris to resolve public issues promptly and on merit. He also stressed courteous interaction with applicants and directed that state land be properly protected.
Later, the Addi. AC visited the Service Delivery Centre (SDC) Lachi, where he met with citizens and assessed the facilities being provided.
He directed staff to address genuine grievances transparently and without delay, emphasizing that negligence or delays in service delivery would not be tolerated.
The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to providing efficient and timely public services through continued field inspections and monitoring.
