SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 31st Aug, 2026) Seven special camps have been established across Sargodha district to facilitate citizens in submitting applications for Green Property Certificates under the Punjab government’s Land Records Reform Programme.
Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry said on Monday that the camps were operational at District Council Hall Sargodha; Chak No. 11 NB in Bhalwal tehsil; Farooka in Sahiwal tehsil; Municipal Committee Bhera; Sobhaga in Sillanwali tehsil; Chak No. 11 SB in Kot Momin tehsil; and Muzaffarabad in Shahpur tehsil.
He said the facilities would remain available until September 13, 2026, allowing residents to apply at locations closer to their communities.
The deputy commissioner said the certificate would provide secure, transparent and legally recognized proof of ownership of land in citizens’ possession. It would also strengthen individual control over land shares in jointly owned properties and help minimize disputes or interference among co-owners.
The issuance fee at the camps had been fixed at Rs950, he said.
He urged citizens to avail themselves of the facility within the stipulated period to secure their property rights.
The certificates would be issued on September 28 and 29, 2026.
