LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30th Aug, 2026) Shalimar Police claimed on Sunday to have arrested a man
for allegedly raping a teenaged girl.
According to police, a 14-year-old girl had left the house
to buy daily use items when the accused identified as Awais
lured her and took her to the roof of his house and allegedly
raped her.
Later, the accused threatened the girl not to tell anyone
about the incident.
Seeing the injury marks on the girl’s body, the family asked
her when she told her family about the incident, on which the
family informed the police.
On information, SP Munza Hassan ordered the Shalimar
police to arrest the accused.
A case has been registered against the accused.
Further investigation was underway.
