MULTAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 29th Aug, 2026) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Wing Multan arrested a passenger for travelling to Oman illegally.
According to FIA Immigration officials, passenger Kashif Ali arrived in Multan from Oman on flight OV537. During immigration clearance, officials found that there was no travel record in the system showing his departure from Pakistan.
During preliminary questioning, the passenger disclosed that he had traveled to Oman through an illegal route. He stated that an agent had lured him with the promise of employment abroad and arranged his illegal travel to Oman on the assurance of a hotel job.
After reaching Oman, Kashif Ali was arrested by Omani police. Following a period in detention, he was subsequently deported to Pakistan.
The FIA Immigration Multan handed over the passenger to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, Multan, for further investigation.
FIA officials said that action against elements involved in illegal immigration and human trafficking would continue.
