RAWALPINDI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 29th Aug, 2026) Parliamentary Secretary for Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Sultan Bajwa on Friday visited the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi and reviewed various ongoing development and horticulture projects in the city.
During the visit, the Parliamentary Secretary was given a detailed briefing on city beautification initiatives, green belts, parks, plantation drives and other related projects. Officials briefed him on the progress of ongoing schemes and facilities being provided to citizens.
Sultan Bajwa appreciated the efforts of the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi for making the city greener, cleaner and more beautiful.
He directed the concerned authorities to ensure timely completion of ongoing projects while maintaining quality and transparency.
He said provision of quality recreational facilities and a healthy environment to citizens was among the government’s key priorities. He stressed the need for special attention to the beautification and maintenance of parks, green belts and other public spaces.
The Parliamentary Secretary further said plantation and horticulture activities would be expanded to enhance the beauty of Rawalpindi and improve its environment.
Officers of the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion.
