NEW YORK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – 28th Aug, 2026) US stock indices closed higher on Thursday, with the Nasdaq leading gains on Wall Street after Nvidia’s strong revenue outlook reinforced confidence in the artificial intelligence boom and lifted technology shares.
The Nasdaq Composite gained 411.16 points, or 1.57 percent, to 26,540.78, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 100.33 points, or 0.19 percent, to 53,564.21.
