TANK, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 28th Aug, 2026) The district administration has launched action against bakery factories for poor hygiene and violations of food safety standards under the provincial government’s public agenda.
According to the administration, in this regard, Additional Assistant Commissioner Tank Malik Sajid Ali conducted inspections of various bakery factories and reviewed cleanliness and hygiene arrangements at the facilities.
During the inspections, poor sanitation and violations of basic health and hygiene standards were found at one factory, which was sealed on the spot.
The owners of other factories were also fined for violating hygiene requirements.
He directed the fined owners to immediately rectify the identified deficiencies and ensure strict compliance with hygiene standards in the preparation of bakery products.
He said it was a top priority of the district administration to provide citizens with clean, safe and quality food items.
He adding that negligence or compromise on hygiene and food safety standards would not be tolerated.
