SIALKOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 28th Aug, 2026) Chief Executive Officer(CEO),District Health Authority (DHA) Sialkot Dr.Muhammad Aslam Chaudhary chaired a meeting to review dengue control activities,surveillance and field operations at his office,here on Friday.
According to the DHA spokesperson,the meeting reviewed dengue hotspots,field surveillance,maintenance of spray pumps and equipment,and issues faced by dengue field staff.
The CEO directed that dengue surveillance and control activities be carried out regularly and all identified hotspots be closely monitored.
He stressed intensifying larvae surveillance and source reduction activities in high-risk areas.
He also directed field teams to ensure regular visits and timely updating of dengue-related data on the relevant system.
Supervisory staff were directed to closely monitor field activities and ensure compliance with instructions.
The CEO further directed that spray pumps and other dengue control equipment be kept functional and maintained properly while any shortage of equipment or other dengue-related issue should be reported immediately.
