MULTAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th Aug, 2026) An unidentified man was killed on Thursday after being struck by a passenger train near Mumtazabad, close to Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Park.
According to Rescue 1122, a man aged around 35, was attempting to hurriedly cross the railway track when a train, traveling from Rawalpindi to Karachi, hit him.
Eyewitnesses reported that the victim sustained critical injuries to his head and chest, leading to his immediate death on the spot.
Rescue teams shifted the body to Nishtar Hospital for legal formalities and identification.
The police were informed of the incident and initiated an investigation, treating the case as an accidental death while making efforts to trace the victim’s heirs.
