LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 24th Aug, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) Hafiz Kareem Dad Chughtai ordered
the prompt resolution of citizens’ property-related complaints while hearing 33 applications
at a revenue open court held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office here on Monday.
The applications related to jamabandi (land records), inheritance mutations, land partition,
demarcation and other revenue matters.
During the hearing, the ADCR issued orders on various cases on merit and directed the
relevant officials to ensure their disposal in accordance with the law.
Hafiz Kareem Dad Chughtai said ensuring transparency in revenue records and resolving inheritance
and mutation cases without delay was among the top priorities of the district administration.
He directed revenue officials to facilitate citizens and ensure they were not made to visit
government offices unnecessarily. He stressed that all cases should be decided strictly on merit and according to the law.
The ADC Revenue warned that negligence in addressing public grievances would not be tolerated, adding that the open court was aimed at providing citizens direct access to the administration and ensuring speedy resolution of their revenue-related issues.
