RAWALPINDI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd Aug, 2026) Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar, Chaudhry Asar Ali visited churches and other important locations in the city to review security arrangements and issue necessary instructions to police personnel.
During the visit, the SP inspected the security measures in place and directed officers to ensure that worshippers were allowed entry into churches only after thorough body search.
Chaudhry Asar Ali said Rawalpindi Police was taking all possible measures to ensure foolproof security. He stressed that protecting the lives and property of citizens remained the police’s foremost responsibility.
He added that Rawalpindi Police was continuously working to safeguard citizens and maintain a secure environment across the city.
