BAHAWALPUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd Aug, 2026) The District Education Authority (DEA) Bahawalpur organized a prestigious
ceremony at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Committee Room to honour students
from government schools who secured top positions in the annual examinations
conducted by the board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Bahawalpur.
Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hassan Raza attended the event as the chief guest
and distributed shields, medals, and certificates of appreciation among the position-holding students.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority Bahawalpur, Tawakkal Hussain, District Education Officer (Secondary) Mukhtar Ahmad Malik, education department officials, school principals, and teachers.
Top-performing students from the Science and Arts groups, along with their teachers and school heads, were specially invited to the event in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.
The exceptional performance of the students from government schools was highly appreciated, and they were honoured with certificates, shields, and medals. Teachers and school heads who played a significant role in
the students’ success were also presented with special awards in recognition of their
dedication and contributions.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza congratulated the position
holders and said that quality education and a talented young generation are the foundation of a progressive society.
He remarked that the remarkable performance of students from government schools is a matter of pride for Bahawalpur’s education sector.
