RPO Hazara Calls Professional Training Essential For Strengthening Police Force


ABBOTTABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st Aug, 2026) Regional Police Officer Hazara Nasir Mahmood Satti has said professional training courses are playing a vital role in strengthening police officers’ capabilities and equipping them to meet emerging security and crime challenges through modern investigation techniques, intelligence-based policing and advanced technology.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 20th Advanced Course at the school of Intelligence Abbottabad, he urged officers to apply their acquired skills in practical policing and make protection and service of the public their foremost priority.

RPO Satti said the changing nature of crime requires police officers to strengthen their expertise in modern investigation methods, intelligence-based policing, information analysis and the effective use of technology.

He urged the course participants to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the training in their practical duties, saying their enhanced capabilities would contribute to improving both individual performance and the overall efficiency of the police force.

The RPO emphasized that timely collection, analysis and communication of accurate intelligence to relevant authorities were essential for preventing crime, taking effective action against criminal elements and maintaining law and order.

He directed the officers to uphold professional responsibility, integrity and dedication in the performance of their duties, while making protection of the lives and property of citizens and public service their foremost priorities.

Satti said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, under the directives of Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed, was conducting various professional and specialized training programmes to enhance the capabilities of its officers and personnel and equip them to meet modern policing and security challenges.

He congratulated the participants on successfully completing the course and expressed confidence that they would use their newly acquired skills to improve police performance, uphold the dignity of the force and contribute effectively to the protection and service of the public.
