HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st Aug, 2026) A suspect allegedly booked in around three dozen FIRs of street crimes, was shot and injured before being rounded up in a police encounter which occurred near Gulshan-e-Hamid in the limits of Tando Yousf police station.
The police spokesman informed here on Friday that the Tando Yousuf police conducted a raid on information to apprehend the suspect Faisal Rajar.
However, he added, the police were allegedly met with resistance and the exchange of fire resulted in a bullet wound sustained by Rajar in his leg.
He was later shifted to Liaquat University Hospital for surgery of his bullet injury.
According to the police spokesman, Rajar was booked in FIRs lodged at GOR, Phuleli, Market, Naseem Nagar, Rahuki, Chalgari, Baldia, Sakhi Pir, Bhitai Nagar and A-Section police stations with the oldest FIR registered in 2013.
