PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st Aug, 2026) Students from various universities participating in the ISPR Summer Internship Programme visited the Headquarters of Frontier Corps KP North at Bala Hisar Fort, Peshawar.
On the occasion, an educational and interactive session was held between the students and Inspector General Frontier Corps KP North, Major General Rao Imran Sartaj, says FC spokesman statement on Friday.
At the beginning of the visit, the participants paid their respects at the Martyrs’ Memorial, laid a floral wreath, and offered Fateha for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs of the nation.
The students toured various sections of the historic Bala Hisar Fort and learned about the rich history, traditions, and sacrifices of Frontier Corps KP North.
The most significant part of the visit was an interactive discussion between the students and IG FC KP North, Major General Rao Imran Sartaj.
During the session, detailed discussions were held on the current security situation, ongoing operations against terrorism, and the importance of civil-military coordination and the cooperation and mutual support between the public and the armed forces.
Major General Rao Imran Sartaj urged the youth to play their role in countering fake news, false narratives, and negative propaganda mechanisms used by anti-state elements. He advised them not to rely on rumours circulating on social media, but instead to make research and fact-finding a habit in order to reach the truth. He emphasized that this would contribute to Pakistan remaining a strong, stable, and resilient state.
