Belarusian Ambassador Andrey Mitlisa appreciated the cooperation of Pakistan, especially the Ministry of Human Resources Development &Overseas Pakistanis, and expressed interest in further enhancing cooperation in the field of manpower and employment
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21th Aug, 2026) Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain met with Belarusian Ambassador to Pakistan Andrey Mitlisa. In the meeting, bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus, especially employment opportunities and direct employment mechanisms for Pakistani skilled manpower in Belarus, were discussed in detail.
On this occasion, it was agreed to form a joint working group between the two countries, which will facilitate the direct employment process for Pakistani workers, resolve necessary issues and legal requirements, expedite the employment process, prevent illegal entry into Europe and the trend of going to Belarus through illegal means, so that Pakistani workers can legally go to Belarus and get employment there.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that Pakistan has a large number of skilled and semi-skilled workforce in various sectors, which is a priority of the government to provide better opportunities to the global employment markets.
Protection of the rights and welfare of Pakistani workers will also be ensured. Ambassador of Belarus Andrey Mitlisa, while appreciating Pakistan’s cooperation, expressed interest in further enhancing cooperation in the field of manpower and employment.
