MULTAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th Aug, 2026) Multan Development Authority (MDA) enforcement directorate, in collaboration with its town planning directorate, launched a grand operation against unauthorized commercial activities in residential areas of Fatima Jinnah Housing Colony and sealed 10 sites, six of them working as private schools.
An MDA spokesman said on Thursday, the joint operation targeted residential properties being used for commercial purposes without the requisite permission.
The teams sealed a beauty parlour, six private schools, a property office, a private hospital, and a sports club.
The MDA said the action was part of its ongoing campaign against unauthorized commercial use of residential properties and violations of town planning regulations. The authority reiterated that strict action would continue against illegal commercial activities in residential areas.
